Patterdale Mountain Rescue Team
The team in Patterdale is one of the busiest Mountain Rescue Teams in England. The Team is made up entirely of volunteers who are available and on call for 24 hours a day, every day of the year. They have a wide variety of "day jobs" and are very proud of the voluntary tradition of their mountain search and rescue service.
The team relies entirely on voluntary donations to run their invaluable and life saving service.
